Cryptocurrency Mining Ultimate Beginner’s Guide

Cryptocurrency Mining

This is the best and easy-to-understand Beginner’s Guide to Cryptocurrency Mining. In this article, you learn everything about cryptocurrency mining.

With the increased interest in the cryptocurrency market, people have started to look into ways to make money on the market. One way to make money is through cryptocurrency mining. Mining is the process of using computers to solve complex algorithms in order to receive cryptocurrency. In this article, we will take a deeper look into what Cryptocurrency mining is and how you might be able to reap the benefits of this process.

As a newbie to cryptocurrency mining, it can be difficult to understand the process. However, there are some basic terms that you should know to get started. The first term is hash. This is a process that takes the information of the algorithm and converts it into a string of numbers and letters. The second term is mining. This is a process that takes the hash and searches it for a number that is less than the target number.

The third term is the pool. This is a group of miners that work together to mine cryptocurrency. They are also responsible for taking a percentage of the mined cryptocurrency. The fourth term is the wallet. This is a digital wallet for storing cryptocurrency that can be used to send and receive cryptocurrency. The fifth term is block. This is a file that contains a certain amount of transactions that the miner can verify. The sixth term is the coin. This is a digital currency that is used to send and receive cryptocurrency.

What is Cryptocurrency?

The simplest definition of Cryptocurrency is. It is a digital asset that works on blockchain technology. Its name originates from the fact that All transactions done on the blockchain are highly encrypted and secure it’s not like traditional currencies that are controlled by the center authority of the country.

So no one can mislead the transaction happing on blockchain and all your transactions are completely secure and crypto mining is the process that makes it secure I will talk about this in a bit.

What is crypto mining?

Mining is the process of verifying transactions on a blockchain network and updating the blockchain that makes crypto transactions secure. For example, Bitcoin miners use computing power to solve a difficult mathematical problem, which is then recorded in the blockchain. This process is then rewarded with a certain amount of Bitcoin. The mining process is how new Bitcoins enter the ecosystem. Mining is a process of adding transaction records to Bitcoin’s public ledger of previous transactions. This public ledger is called the blockchain as it is a chain of blocks.

Same as bitcoin mining you can mine any other minable coin like Ethereum, Raven, Flux, and many more crypto coins.

What is Cryptocurrency Mining?

Cryptocurrency mining is the process of verifying the crypto transactions happening on the blockchain and adding them to the public ledger. The ledger is often referred to as the “blockchain”. Miners are rewarded for their work by receiving a certain amount of digital currency.

Crypto mining is also a process by which new cryptocurrency takes place in the market in terms of mining rewards for cryptocurrency miners.

What are the benefits of mining?

What are the benefits of mining? The main benefit of crypto mining is you can make money from this. Whenever you start mining cryptocurrency you will get cryptocurrency as the reward for mining. Ex. when you mine ETH (Ethereum) you will get the reward in the same cryptocurrency ETH and you can sell that on any exchange and transfer that money to your bank.

Also, let me clear it for you mining reward doesn’t mean you will get less money by doing crypto mining in fact crypto miners make thousands of dollars from cryptocurrency mining. So if you want to make money through cryptocurrency mining stay on this article in the next step I will tell you how to start crypto mining.

How to get started with mining

If you’re interested in mining cryptocurrencies but don’t know where to start and How to start, then this guide is for you. I’ll teach you all about crypto mining. I’ll also teach you about the different types of crypto mining hardware that are available, the pros and cons of each, and how to get started with them.

Brief: To start cryptocurrency mining you need specific crypto mining devices that will talk about in a bit. So one thing I want to clear here is crypto mining through mobile and a normal pc is not that profitable. So my suggestion is to start mining any of the mining devices mentioned below.

Start cryptocurrency mining using GPU

Cryptocurrency mining with GPU is called GPU mining where you use computer graphics cards to mine cryptocurrency. The machine that is made by using graphic cards to mine cryptocurrency is called a crypto mining rig. I added a photo of the mining rig below to give you an idea.

GPU Mining rig is the same as your computer whereas in your normal computer you use parts like Motherboard, Ram, SSD, Power Supply, and Graphic cards. All these parts are used in the GPU mining rig the only difference between a normal computer and a GPU mining rig is you add multiple graphic cards to mine more cryptocurrency. More GPUs mean more profits from crypto mining.

Building a mining rig is a technical process so I added a video on How to build a crypto mining rig to make it easy for you. Because it’s complicated to understand the building mining rig guide in text format so watch the below video to build your first mining rig.

Start cryptocurrency mining using ASIC machine

ASIC machines are specially made for cryptocurrency mining. It’s not like a GPU mining rig that you can also use for other works that you want to do on any other PC. ASIC machines are only used for cryptocurrency mining there is no other use for ASIC machines.

Setting up the ASIC machine is also a technical process so to make it easy to understand I added a step-by-step setup video of the ASIC machine below to set up your first ASIC machine.

Difference Between GPU Mining and ASIC Machine

Here I am not going too deep into the difference between GPU mining and ASIC machine but I will tell you the main differences that you should know to choose between GPU and ASIC machines.

GPU MiningASIC Machine
You can mine a lot of coins with GPUsASICs are limited to some coins every ASIC is made for a specific algorithm so you just mine coins available on that algorithm.
GPUs produce far less heat than ASICs because they consume less power.ASICs produce so much heat that some miners repurpose it to grow to produce or heat hot tubs.
GPU mining rigs are not produced much noise.ASICs are much louder than GPU mining rings.
GPUs consume power but way lesser than ASIC machinesASIC machines consume too much electricity.
GPUs are easily resold to anyone because GPUs are also used for gaming and video editing.Unless GPU ASIC machines are not easy to resell because ASIC machines are only used for crypto mining.

My view: Personally I recommend using GPU rigs to mine cryptocurrency because you can use them to do other works that you can do on your PC. Also, you can easily resell GPUs because crypto-mining GPUs are also used for gaming and video editing too.
